Vayulogic™ is a service provider that enables U.S.-based merchants such as retail stores, restaurants, etc., to use text messaging to communicate with their customer—you, the mobile phone user. This page provides information about how our service works, terms of use for the service, and our privacy policy.

Service Description
Here’s how our service works: We allow different merchants to share a single short code to communicate with their customers. When you want to communicate with a specific merchant, you enter that merchant’s unique “merchant name keyword” at the beginning of your text message. Our system looks for this “keyword” at the beginning of each incoming text message to match it with the merchant you’re texting.

It’s entirely up to you to choose to “opt in” or join a specific merchant’s mobile text messaging communication program hosted on our service. When you see an invitation to join a merchant’s text messaging communication program—for example, on in-store signage or your sales receipt—you will be invited to send a message to a specific short code and then to write in the body of the text the merchant’s keyword followed by the word JOIN. Once you’ve joined a program, you will receive a text message thanking you for joining that program. (You might also be asked to re-confirm your intent to join with an additional message/reply.)

Subsequently, you will receive messages from that merchant. The messages may contain special alerts, promotions, offers, invitations to special events, requests for feedback, etc. Some messages may request a reply from you. The frequency of messages will vary by merchant but would generally average a couple a month at most.

Please rest assured that Vayulogic does not allow merchants to cross sell or market to other merchants’ customers with our service. In other words, if you’d like to hear from merchant X, join merchant X’s program; if you’d like to hear from merchant Y, join merchant Y’s program. If you join only the program of merchant X, you’re NOT going to be hearing from merchant Y.

Vayulogic does not ever charge consumers to use this service.

Please check with the merchant and your mobile phone carrier regarding its specific charges to send and/or receive text message. Message & Data Rates May Apply.

On-line Sign-up
We do not currently provide on-line sign-up or opt-in via Vayulogic’s website. For now, you must sign up for a specific merchant’s text communication program via your mobile phone as described above.

Need Help?
If you need help with a specific merchant program, you may send a text message to that merchant by texting to the merchant’s short code, the merchant’s keyword, and the word HELP.

If you want more general help information from Vayulogic, just text to the same short code the single word HELP.

Stopping Service
At any time, you can opt out or discontinue participation in a specific merchant’s text message communication program. To do so, just text to the merchant's short code the merchant keyword followed by the word STOP. These additional words can also be used to opt out: Sign Out, End, Unsubscribe, Quit, or Cancel. You will then receive a message confirming your decision to opt out of the merchant’s text communication program.

If you are participating in multiple merchant programs using the same short code, you can also send a message to the shared short code with the text body saying STOP ALL (no specific merchant keyword is needed). You will then receive a message to confirm your having opted out of all program(s) on that short code and will receive no further messages.
